About Yourself / Bio | Michelle Scullin Crute has
17+ years of operations/engineering experience and has worked/served in many
locations/industries around the world. She holds a BS degree in Manufacturing
Engineering Technology with a Business Minor (BYU 2003); as well as a MS degree
in Manufacturing Systems (BYU 2005). She holds her green & black belt
certifications in Six Sigma (UofU 2006). She has started her PhD in Industrial
Organizational Psychology (started 2014 CSPP). She has served in many
capacities in various communities/industries not only in engineering but other
disciplines as well through consulting, training, and coaching. Her experience
includes: supporting the family business Deer Lick Lumber Co. Inc., JM Smucker
Co., Zero Manufacturing Co., Rim Family Services/FEMA, the Goodrich
Corporation/United Technologies Aerospace Systems/Collins Aerospace, STG
Aerospace in the UK, Wesco Aircraft, Tesla, and most recently, her personal
start up: Leanbrella. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of San
Diego and supports program development at BYU as an Adjunct Professor/Visiting
Lecturer/Member of the Industrial Advisory Board. Her interests/expertise
surrounds: people/culture, leadership, change management, process flow,
efficiency, plastics/composites processing, supply chain management, quality,
and cost reduction. |
