Organization Summary Being one of the first 3M Coaches, Trainers as well as Black Belt Certified we lived Six Sigma as a Leadership Philosophy. Novel Idea was Established in 2003, at the request of a Top Global Company.
Novel Idea specialises in building operational excellence journeys for companies and individuals. We do this by individually adapting each company’s journey to be what it needs when it needs it. We focus on the building of capacity – known as Belt development – to integrate business improvement, innovation and problem-solving through execution-driven processes. We do this through the power of Lean Six Sigma. Novel Idea helps you to identify your most pressing problems as well as your greatest challenges and opportunities. We then help you to assign these to your best people.
We use different methodologies at different stages of the Business Improvement and Business Innovation processes. The Methodologies we use are the Lean Six Sigma Process Improvement Methodologies – DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve and Control) Lean Sigma and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) for New Product, Process of Technology Design. We also utilise Strategic Management Methodologies (Strategy, Balance Scorecards, Change and Leadership Management), and integrate best practices linked to ISO and Industry 4.1 into improvements.
