Bio James McNerney distinguished himself as the innovative and groundbreaking leader of The Boeing Company from 2005-2015. During his stellar career, he led the organization through challenging and rewarding events that shaped the role of aviation well into the next century. He grew his career through innovation and strength in leadership, earning the respect of the organization and the industry as a whole. McNerney later was an advisor to the President on strategic and economic issues. His career began with Procter & Gamble as a brand manager. He subsequently moved to McKinsey & Company as a senior manager and consultant. McNerney then took on the most significant challenge he had faced and went to work at General Electric (GE), where he thrived and built a thriving career. He worked his way up at GE, holding president and CEO roles of a wide variety of divisions in the organization. McNerney later went to 3M as the president and CEO, then took on the ultimate role with Boeing. McNerney is a published thought leader, public speaker, and television personality, impacting the trajectory of the business climate on a global scale.
