Bio | Daniel P. Burnham is a leader and business executive who served across various industries with some of the most prestigious global organizations. His primary focus was in the aerospace industry, where he distinguished himself for his visionary leadership and tireless work ethic. Burnham began his professional career with the Carborundum Company. He worked his way up in the organization, taking on the toughest roles and facing adversity that would mold his future career. After serving with Carborundum, he found his true calling with AlliedSignal. In his roles, he worked his way through various divisions, taking on greater leadership responsibilities and learning the business. Subsequently, he served as President of AlliedSignal Aerospace, the largest business division and the world’s largest supplier of equipment and sub-systems to the aerospace industry. In his distinguished career, he has served on the Board of Directors with AlliedSignal, FleetBoston Financial, First Data Corporation, Green Hills Software, and the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation. He has also served as an advisor on numerous national advisory boards, performing arts foundations, and several high-tech ventures. Burnham is a magna cum laude graduate of Xavier University, where he holds a bachelor's degree in economics and his master's degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. He also has two honorary degrees from Pepperdine University and Bentley College. |
