Bruce Sindahl has a Masters of Science degree in Statistical Mathematics, a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, is a Lean Six Sigma facilitator to the Master Black Belt level, and Data Scientist (IBM Watson).  During the last 20 years, Bruce has aided a variety of business, educational and government entities as a Process Improvement specialist, Coach, and Mentor. His professional focus during this time has been as follows:

 Consulting: work with clients in identifying and fixing their critical process-related issues;

 Mentor, Coach and Facilitate practitioners on the proper use of Process Improvement tools and methods to increase Process Efficiency (Lean) and Product Quality (Six Sigma)

 Train students in the field of Data Science: applied classical statistical methods as well as modern machine/deep learning and artificial intelligence techniques

 Coach Leadership in understanding the importance of human-centric leadership and its role in process improvement, change management, and sustained company growth.

Previously…

- From the 1980s: Bruce held various positions in integrated circuit design, quality assurance, test and yield engineering.  During this time, he served as IBM’s Industrial Liaison Officer to the University of California at Berkeley, as Industrial Mentor to Carnegie Melon and the University of California at Santa Barbara, and as an IBM Senior Electrical Engineering Assignee to Sematech to manage their Advanced Automated Process-Control program.

- From the mid-90s: Bruce spent the first nine years in Switzerland working with The Swatch Group implementing their Statistical Quality Control program; Swiss Telecom creating an automated Management Information System; and the Credit Suisse and UBS banks implementing and facilitating their worldwide marketing Customer Relationship Management system. During his latter years in Switzerland, Bruce returned to his semiconductor roots working as a KLA-Tencor European Technical Sales Representative, training the European customer-base in the application of statistical methods for semiconductor metrology.
