The ATP application may only be completed online, so you will always have the latest copy. The latest ISSSP Standards may be downloaded for free.
What role does the ISSSP staff play in the application process?
ISSSP staff will perform the initial review of your application to ensure everything is included. The application is then sent to the ISSSP Review Committee for review.
Can I get a sample of a completed ATP application?
No. The applications contain confidential information. Sample applications are not provided to prevent possible copying of the material. However, the Accredited Training Professional Application Guide is a helpful tool.
How much does it cost to become an ATP?
The cost is $300, which covers the application and membership fees for the first year. The fee for annual membership is $150.
How long does it take to be approved as an ATP?
It takes approximately two weeks for the review process. The time could be shorter or longer based on your application and any information that may be needed to show you meet all of the ISSSP Standards.
What is required for Individuals to be an ISSSP Accredited Training Professional?
You must meet all of the ISSSP Standards. These requirements include being a certified Master Black Belt with at least 10 managed projects.
