Webinar: Unlocking Efficiency: The Alchemy of Total Productive Maintenance
In the competitive arena of modern manufacturing, the quest for efficiency resembles an intricate alchemical process. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) emerges as the philosopher's stone, changing traditional maintenance approaches into gold. TPM’s core philosophy instills a culture of proactive and preventative maintenance, elevating the role of every employee from mere operators to guardians of operational excellence.
Each basic TPM program includes OEE for example. But, there are several other basic calculations that are often missed: Mean time to failure, Mean time to repair, and PM compliance. These give you the basic health of your TPM program. As well as cycles vs date PM's.
In this review, we will look at what makes a basic TPM program, and calculations for the four main measures of a healthy TPM system. Including a calculator that recommends changes in the frequency of PM's based on volume vs date or time based.
