Webinar: Measurement Systems Analysis with GLM
General Linear Modeling (GLM) can be used to analyze Gage R&R study data and provides much greater flexibility than a classical analysis which can lead to measurement system solutions that otherwise wouldn't be found. This includes fully nested destructive Gage R&R and expanded studies with factors in addition to Operator and Part, such as Test Fixture or Location. These factors can be fixed or random. GLM can also be extended using Restricted Maximum Likelihood (REML) to provide confidence intervals for the variance components. Note complex formula details will not be discussed - SigmaXL software will be used to demonstrate these methods.
Webinar Outline:
- Analysis of Classical Gage RR using AIAG example
- AIAG re-analyzed with GLM
- Fully Nested Destructive MSA with Shear Test Data
- Expanded Gage R&R Study (time permitting)
